On October 2-4, 2019 at Hotel Scout in Czestochowa in Poland the 6th technical conference on „Innovative solutions in the field of wastewater treatment and sludge management”, organized by the Seidel-Przywecki Publishing House, took place. PROTE company as a partner of the conference was attended by Mr. Jerzy Slusarczyk – President of the Supervisory Board, Mr. Pawel Samelak – CEO, Mr. Dariusz Ligocki – Manager of Water Research and Protection and Ms. Anna Figanska – Assistant to CEO.
The vital and unusually up-to-date topic of the conference attracted a wide group of scientists, representatives of Water and Wastewater Utilities as well as suppliers of technologies and equipment for the water and wastewater industry. Experts from the world of science and practitioners, including both providers of innovative solutions and people utilizing the above mentioned solutions on a daily basis had their speeches during the event.
On the agenda of the conference there was also a technical visit to a waste processing installation at the Czestochowa District’s Water and Wastewater Utility as well a tour around the WARTA S.A. wastewater treatment plant.
PROTE marked its presence at the conference by presenting two videos promoting its technologies, that is a video prepared by the Polish Ministry of Environment on the PROTE-MOS Minimization of Sludge Technology which is a laureate of the GreenEvo program as well as a video on SYMBIO systems protecting water intakes against sudden contamination, produced by the WTK TV.
Not only was the event an excellent occasion to deepen one’s knowledge about state-of-the-art technologies in the field of wastewater treatment and sludge management, but also a perfect opportunity for numerous meetings and integration among professionals from the industry. The organizers created excellent conditions and atmosphere in this regard.
