The green PROTE-Quest Tech addresses the widespread problem of impaired tap water quality due to rusty pipelines with lots of scale and deposits, resulting in the so-called secondary pollution of the distributed water. Together with its three local partners, Apa-Canal Chisinau, Servicii Publice Cimislia, and ConsulTrans Grup SRL, PROTE has implemented the PROTE-Quest Tech in Moldova through a two-spot pilot.
On 4-9.22.2024, PROTE specialists went on their last mission within this Project, where they controlled the SeaQuest dosing installations at waterworks in Chisinau and Cimislia. On November 8th, they participated in a conference organized at the headquarters of Apa-Canal-Chisinau, summarizing the results of the Project achieved so far. We express our warmest thanks to everyone who attended the event. We hope that the PROTE-QUEST technology, proven in Poland and worldwide and tested in the local conditions at two Moldovan waterworks, will find a wider group of users in the Moldovan market.
The Project called Green PROTE-Quest Tech for Moldova: Improved Drinking Water Distribution System`s Energy Efficiency & Hydraulic Performance is implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) through the Polish Challenge Fund, with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
